Nasreen Bagwan has worked as a Hospitalist for 5 years in a rural community before pursing a career in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Her areas of particular interest are outpatient palliative care, pharmacotherapy and palliative care for safety net population. Nasreen enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and children. Nasreen attended Medical school at Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College in India. She completed her residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Christian Niles is a Palliative Care and Hospice fellow, husband and dog dad who grew up in the New Jersey suburbs of Philadelphia. Christian met his wife and found his passion for medicine in Boston at Northeastern University. His first experiences with Palliative care were in medical school at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University where he was a member of the second graduating class. Christian completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He spent a year working in the community as a hospitalist which cemented his interest in helping patients and family navigate the healthcare system and his commitment to having the difficult but important conversations needed to do so.
