Einstein Care Partners, LLC (ECP) is an accountable care organization (ACO) formed by Einstein Healthcare Network in June 2017. An ACO is a group of doctors, hospitals, and other providers working together to deliver high quality, coordinated care. Einstein Healthcare Network is the sole owner of ECP, which is a separate legal entity. The ECP Board of Managers consists of participating physicians, Einstein Healthcare Network representatives, and one Medicare fee-for-service beneficiary. The Board of Managers oversees ECP's operations and strategic direction.
ECP provides support for our Network as a Population Health Services Organization. ECP helps clinical teams provide comprehensive and coordinated care for the populations we serve. ECP is committed to innovative payment models, population health analytics, continuous quality improvement, and care management of high risk patients.
The Einstein Care Partners ACO is comprised of the primary care practices of Einstein Community Health Associates (ECHA); Einstein Physicians Philadelphia, Incorporated (EPPI); and Einstein Physicians Montgomery (EPM). Our primary care physicians provide comprehensive care to approximately 10,000 beneficiaries through participation in the Medicare Shared Savings Program. In total, we serve over 80,000 beneficiaries under population health payment contracts.
