Anesthesiologists in the Division of Obstetric Anesthesiology are dedicated to managing each individual woman's anesthetic needs while providing a safe labor and delivery experience for mother and child. The anesthesiologists make each woman's physical state and pain tolerance the focus of every obstetric plan and closely monitor the patient's response to pain medication.
Experienced staff anesthesiologists are available 24 hours a day to provide care for obstetric patients, including pre-delivery consultations to help patients make informed choices.
