The Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, Internal Medicine Residency Program is structured to provide a comprehensive core curriculum in internal medicine. This is accomplished through supervised, weekly dedicated conference time on Wednesday afternoons from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. Morning reports are on Tuesday and Thursdays from 7-7:30 a.m. Residents will have the opportunity to present cases or lead a discussion of journal articles, patient care activities, teaching attending rounds, care management rounds, IM curriculum conferences, Grand Rounds. Medical Grand Rounds, morbidity and mortality conferences, ambulatory conferences, evidence-based medicine lectures, board review conferences, simulation, objective structured clinical exams, and self-study. Residents will also participate in the institutional conference series.

The residency program is structured to ensure that each resident will have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, clinical skills, interpersonal skills, professional attitudes and behaviors, and experience navigating through the health care system required to become a competent general internist. They will also learn to reflect on their own clinical practice to acquire the skills necessary for life-long learning.
