Daniel Bitetto, MD
Bio: I completed my undergraduate at Hofstra University in New York and majored in Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Physics. I went to Medical School at the University of Texas Medical Branch. I completed my residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pa and went on to a General Internal Medicine Fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa where I studied informatics and graduate medical education.
My philosophy of medicine is to work closely and efficiently with the patients in my care. I strive to teach and educate my patients about their health and underlying conditions in easy and relatable ways. It is important to me to listen and respect each person that I care for when guiding decisions for their health.
I chose to enter medicine because it offered me the best way to apply my interests in science (Biology, Biochemistry and Physics) in a meaningful way. There is a rewarding experience by using my knowledge and training to positively impact someone's life. This comes with the added benefit while facing the challenges of modern medicine.
My personal interests include the delivery of cost-effective healthcare provided in a time efficient manner. I am also very interested in nutrition, lifestyle and the wellness of my patients, academic partners and students.
