Einstein's Center for Advanced Liver Disease and Transplantation has the area's only inpatient unit devoted to patients with liver disease. We provide liver transplants, including all pre- and post-operative care and consistently have one of the highest one-year adult liver transplant patient survival rates in the region, according to data from the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients.
Our multidisciplinary team of hepatology and transplantation specialists consists of physicians, nurses, researchers, nutritionists, behavioral specialists, social workers and support staff who work closely with patients, families and referring physicians throughout the entire treatment process. We coordinate every aspect of care from appointments through follow-up.
