About the Caring Spirit Awards

Presented annually during Nurses Week, Einstein Nursing Caring Spirit Awards highlight the caring practices of nurses and nursing staff. These peer nominated and peer selected awards are grounded in the 10 Caritas Processes of Watson's Theory of Human Caring. The awards process is coordinated through our shared governance specialty clusters. Several of the awards are named in memory of former nurse colleagues.
