Einstein's Department of Diagnostic Radiology has offices in our Philadelphia and Montgomery County medical centers which provide access to some of today's most advanced radiological diagnostic technologies offering detailed still and moving images of tissues, bones and organs for accurate diagnosis and treatment. The Department and its imaging facilities perform almost 300,000 imaging examinations per year. The Diagnostic Radiology team is comprised of radiologists, nuclear medicine specialists and interventional radiologists proficient in all areas of radiologic imaging services.

Comprehensive Network

The Department's diagnostic imaging services utilizes the state-of-the-art Computerized Picture Archive and Communications System (PACS), providing simultaneous, filmless, paperless access to patient images to physician teams. PACS provides options for consultation between radiologists who are not in the same location. The systems common, simultaneous file access allows easy collaboration between specialists making PACS an integrated part of full patient care at Einstein.
