Some day you may want to be a mother. But, chances are, you are not ready for that responsibility now.
If you are having sex, but don't want to get pregnant, a primary care doctor can help you decide what form of birth control and family planning program is best for you.
If you are under age 18, you are eligible for Einstein's free family planning program in the Philadelphia region, which offers examinations, pregnancy testing, birth control and treatment for infections. The program is available through Einstein's Teen Health Center and the Germantown Women's Center.
Family planning services are also available through Einstein Neighborhood Healthcare doctors throughout the Philadelphia and Montgomery County regions.
Remember, if you think you may be pregnant, it's important to understand your family planning options–and to get the proper healthcare right away!
